presumably being prepared to switch & keep switching would work out cheaper, but oh how messy!

Not really cheaper but certainly messy.
If you look closely at Atlantic prices it says in the small print, prices include a 8.5% rebate paid in the 13th month if you stay with them that long.
    If you don`t,you get nowt.
On average it takes about 6 weeks to switch and that`s if they don`t make an !!!!!! of it.
By the time you`ve had the hassle of chasing them up and get everything sorted, they then kick you in the teeth by putting up their prices.

As I`ve said before the only people making a fortune is the switching sites, who get an average of £50 for everyone they con into switching.

I can't understand why anyone would want to use uswitch???

The champagne only cost 17 pounds in Morrisons. The other sites give 15 quid cash much better IMO.

Some of the other sites are easy to work with ukpower for example they include all tarrifs in a single simple search, Uswitch make you have to second guess what all their options actually mean assuming you even notice them. For example they only search the suppliers that pay them money unless you deselect a tiny option of "yes" & "no"........which means you could miss out on a supplier that will save you another 100 pounds a year all because you have either missed the button or because you are fooled into thinking you want a 17 quid bottle of bubbly!

They also have obtained top billing on the google search site by tagging their website with "energy watch" & "energywatch" which is just underhanded scumbag tactics IMO!

Its strange energyhelpline say one thing - but when i sat down and looked at atlantic, ebico and another - ebico was best - who i am with anyway
I'm staying until September and will have another decent look then

How quickly can you switch again if you have just switched??
  • I switched to EDF in June using one of martins links for £15 cashback but can't remember which one !!! Searched through all my e-mails but can;t find anything relating to this !!

Anyone any idea how long the cashback usually takes to come through - think its been over 8weeks now since I applied although EDF have only recently started supplying me.

Am I likely to get this 15 quid or can I kiss it goodbye as I've dumped the confirmation e-mail.

    Thanks guys

I switched last december but there must have been a mix up because BG were still supplying my electricity until recently and uswitch sent me three bottles of Champagne. I'm switching again then I think I'll have a party!
