Hi liberty, I'm a care assistant with the dubious honour of looking after 11 nakedly needy people who could stretch the patience of the most patient person on this earth, God love them.

oh well i guess if we had more money and didnt do night shifts we would only find something else to moan about.

right whilst its quiet for an hour im gona go and hide in the tv room and catch up on 24.

may be back later but if not have a good night shift.

Sounds interesting and demanding! My other half is a staff nurse so I am very impressed by anyone who can do the job without going mad. I'd never make a nurse or care assistant...I hate sick people!

I run a clothing business with my sister. We sell mostly on ebay.

Hi Liberty, It,s not so bad really. I just keep thinking that the person that I am looking after will be me one day and boy am I going to have some fun with the youg, naive care assistants that I GET STUCK WITH.

I buy all our clothes of Ebay, much cheaper and easier than going shopping with the 3 in tow. Got some great bargains too.

I have found in previous jobs that the best teaching tool I ever used was a ruler...If they got stuff wrong I would hit them with it. I'm not joking either! Worked wonders

Well bargains is what ebay is all about...although ebay, or feebay as they are now refered to, are doing their best to squeeze out those small independant people who just want to make a little extra cash. They've hiked up the fees loads and made it really hard for some people to afford the listings. Luckily we are a 'business' so we can absorb a lot of the extra fees, but any ordinary person would find it a lot less appealing now they have to give 10% or more of they're profits to ebay.
