unknow error on new laptop, can i get a refund?

    I suggest you give more details on the one game it wont play and the error message if any

    Depending on the error it could be all sorts of things, from your browser to the flash/java plugins, to the particular server the game is on.

    If it was a hardware fault, your computer wouldn't solely be exhibiting the problems with that one game.

    having experienced similar problems, I suggest that the OP unplugs the laptop, places it back in the box and returns it to the store.

    They should explain that they are incompetent to operate such a device and are returning out of courtesy to mankind.

    Failing that, why not try the Techie Stuff Bored.

    Edit:

    Actually come to think of it.. Don't use Internet explorer, it's buggy from the get go. Try Firefox, it's free and usually tells you what plug-ins are required to view a page properly!

    The errors are almost certainly caused due to inadequate add in's. These facebook games did not work on my work PC until I installed a few updates.

    Furthermore facebook has been very buggy lately.

    It is not the laptop at all.

    Well OP is calling it an "unknown error" so he probably doesn't know what it is, only that he can't be bothered to sort the software out so it MUST be hardware.

    The game sounds like World of Warcraft and mine and my OH is running fine :) sorry cant help with the OP question though.

    Maybe you have blocked the game on Facebook in the past and this is why it isn't working. You need to tell us what the page is saying so we can help you fix it. Does sound like the laptop is faulty TBH.
