This is killing BA and then the unionists wont have a job.

I didn't even consider BA at any price when booking my flights to the States last month. They could have been £70 cheaper and I still wouldnt have flown with them because of the risk of all this.

How many others are like me? How much longer can BA sustain this?
I am showing my support and booking BA flights as normal. The more of us that stand by them the more of a chance they have of survival, and I know BA will get me to my destination
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
  • Having spent last summer worrying whether I could get to Greece from Manchester via Heathrow and spending over a £1500 Club Class, I would not touch this airline with the proverbial barge pole.

They hold all the cards and why go through the worry?
Talk about shooting oneself in the foot? Is is BA or the paying public? My money is too hard earnt to play silly games, 'Come Fly With Me or Not'. Come on public.....DO NOT GAMBLE

THIS AIRLINE IS HEADING FOR THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE!!!!

Does anyone know when they are likely to announce the dates of their strikes? I'm particularly concerned about potential strikes in Feb half term (w/c 21/2) as have booked a 3 day trip (flights & hotel) for NY. We're due to fly from LHR to EWR on 22/2, returning on 25/2. Should the strike be called for theat time, what are the chances of us not being able to travel and then getting a full refund or would we have to re-book for a different date? We got a really good deal for this trip and would be concerned that we wouldn't get the same deal again for anothe time.

    Thanks

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

The strike dates- if there are going to be any, could happen at anytime, however given that your flights are Long haul, i really wouldnt worry. All the last set of strikes, BA focussed on getting their long haul places away, and are aiming this time, at 100% of all the longhaul from Heathrow, Gatwick and London city, which makes the dates a bit irrelevant.

If no dates are announced then BA wont let you cancel just in case, hold tight, and you should be fine!
