For the sake of your incomes I can be glad for all successful enterprises, Kleeneze or Betterware, Avon.
But I have had both Catalogues on doorsteop and didn't want to touch either of them. (There may be good products one would buy).
I wish these Companies all had stuff that would make me a) buy from them besides Lakeland which is terribly mumsy b) think perhaps I might be like successful persons above.
    Unfortunately not so.
I have no wish to spend more than I have too on various products but bar a few killers on Avon I have no wish too.
Best of luck to sellers. Amazed to see what you guys are accomplishing. Only wish it was above.

I dont work for them but its interesting to see what people buy.:D
  • @Ypaymore I agree, some goods are astonishingly bad yet people still buy them. For me this is as bad as throwing money away. IMHO and people will probably disagree, a little taste education goes a long way.

But they only buy them once.

This was the problem I had with Kleeneze, they told me that once people had made one order they would continue to place regular orders. And after a while I would have built up enough regular customers so I would only need drop books to them to get a good living.

In reality, people would buy, but then realise what they bought was rubbish, or no better than something they could buy a lot cheaper in a shop, and so they would never place another order.

Instead of building up a regular customer base, I got less and less orders each time I visited an area.

I also found this with Kleeneze which is why i'm now with a Company that not only does have good repeatable sale items but also a worthwhile cause behind it as well. By providing samples of other products from the brochure to what they already buy and giving them a w/c date when i will next be dropping the brochure i am finding regular orders are increasing and order values starting to increase, they can then plan their shopping. I have even had a couple of people ask me to do automatic monthly orders such as doggy waste bags (did you realise that by putting doogy waste in normal plastic bags is actually preserving the waste which is naturally biodegrading material beautifully for 1000s of years in landfill :()- something perhaps we will work on and offer to all customers. :).

Just seen this Twitter by a Kleeneze Rep I quote.

"Just had call from prospect wanting to join. Needs to save £3,500 in next 4 months and only heard of Kleeneze where this can be achieved P/T"

What an absolute load of Tosh.

Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Name Dropper
Theres a no quibble 12 months gauantee on all products @ Betterware lisyloo so would have to disagree here

Oops sorry, genuine mistake on my part.

On the repeat buying - people do repeat buy Avon. Personally I love the "planet spa" range but always wait until stuff is half price or 3 of £5.
