Never had a leather suite - are they OK

We've had our leather sofa for many years. No problems whatsoever. The cat likes it as well.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

The cat doesn't claw the leather (he used to claw the fabric one) and when he comes in with muddy boots and walks all over the pale cream suite, it just wipes off.
Must admit though, in winter I do use a throw as the leather can be a bit cold.
Hi guys,
Just wondered if you could give me some advice. I have ordered 2 fabric sofas from M&S and am thinking of either
cancelling one of them and getting one leather sofa
cancel both get 2 leather sofas
stick with original order
The reason I have stuck with fabric is that I have an old cat 16+ and he has ruined the arms of my current sofa (fabric) by either clawing it or using it to support himself as he jumps up onto sofa.
With new fabric ones I was going to get armcaps to protect this area.
Do you think a dark brown leather sofa and a country chenille mocha (light brown) would look good together or is it best to have both sofas the same.
Thanks for any advise.
