hey folks, i',m due to renew my contract at the end of the year, and the likely thing is i won't be staying with tmobile as their coverage in my area is shocking at best.

i'm looking to get a blackberry for me and the misses and was just wondering if people on here have them?

if so can you say which model you have and what network/price plan you're on?

just looking for general research really

    cheers

Renewal at the end of the year! You've still got another 6 months or so to go. Any recommendations now would be void by the time you upgrade. I would ask the same questions again closer to the time.

But having said that my wife has the bold 9700 and its very good, she got it free on upgrade with Orange on Dolphin 25 for £22.50pm. You'll be looking at at least a £25pm tariff to get it for free. Who knows it may be cheaper come December as new phones will supercede it.

    Good luck.

vodafone are getting my vote so far on the same plan

just a question though, are the 600mins cross-network??

Yeah, it's the usual free to all 01, 02 and 07 numbers (think that's right?)

However, as parallax_20 said, because you're not upgrading for 6 months these tariffs will no doubt change, along with the spec of the phones.

Why don't you like yours? I've only had mine a few days and already love it (would have it over an iphone any day!) Not being critical, just interested :)
Common sense just isn't that common any more....

Its probably because its not as flexible as other smartphones or OS's. Coming from a WinMobile background, I would find the lack of 3rd party apps quite restrictive unless you are only planning on using the built-in apps, in which case it's very good for your average user. I probably won't get one personally, but its perfect for someone like my wife who mainly uses it for calls and texting, and doesn't particularly like touchscreens for their lack of physical buttons.
