I asked similar question one month ago and still have not come to a decision. I am more interested in QUNNY BUZZ because I love the colour of its carrycot but I am still doing internet review reviewing.a half qualified cat

I have the Quinny Buzz, and i love it. It is lovely when the baby can face you when they have outgrown the carrycot. Mothercare also do a pushchair that is very similar to the Quinny Buzz but is cheaper, and you can use the Maxi Cosi car seat with it. I think its called Mothercare My Choice, and you can have it either a 3 wheeler or 4 wheeler.0

OP where do you live? Are you within an hours drive of Stoke on Trent or Huddersfield? Mamas and Papas have factory shops in those locations and their prams work out really cheap from there. I bought an Ultima, just the chassis, seat unit and carrycot and it come in at £299. Purchased the car seat seperately at Boots.com and that was £112.50 but as you said you already have a car seat. The only thing I didnt purchase to make it the full set was the surefix stand which the carrycot, seat unit, car seat fit on as it was £60 and we already have a swinging crib so decided against it. The Ultima in the shops are £695 and I got mine with car seat for £411.
I think picking a pram is trial and error, go around playing with as many as you can and try to get to grips with them. If you are looking for a pram with a carrycot you might struggle as there arent many around now, they all seem to be travel system type things. The one we were told to avoid by a few people was Quinny Buzz. Reasons been that the carrycot is small comapared to most of them and that the seat units are smaller than most but they now do an extra seat with them. Also that if you use them for anything other than town walking the front wheel acts as a plough on grass.
If you have any where you live look at independent pram shops rather than Mothercare or Babies r us etc as you tend to get a better deal I have found.
Good luck finding something xxx0 -
A couple of years ago, I was part of a group of pregnant mums spending ages looking at prams & pushchairs. I seem to remember Bebecars (you needed to carry a pump around!!!) and Gracos being the fashionable choices in 2001.
We all started with the latest all singing, all dancing models and within 18 months most of us had downgraded to small and compact Maclareans. Great little buggies and reasonably priced. No complicated mechanisms, didn't need a weightlifting course to get it in the car, and it fitted without having to remove everything from the boot, or take a wheel off (my friend had to do this to get her Bebecar in her boot).
By the time second babies came along, most of us couldn't face getting the 'beasts' out again and sold them on and bought Maclareans suitable for new borns.
Anyway, not sure that helps but what I'm saying is big with loads of twiddly bits, is not necessarily best. Just realised, you never see a Bebecar anymore and everyone had one about 8 years ago.0 -
Just make sure that if you drive regularly both pushchair/pram and carrycot fit comfortably into your car. Ours is a decent size saloon car, yet we found that many makes would not fit in the boot with more than a few small shopping bags.ACHIEVING THE AIM SINCE.........0
