I'm 19 and my first car was a Nissan Almera :rotfl:- and I'm now looking for a saloon/estate of some sort.

How about a Honda CRV? Massive boot space for the dogs.

My dog walker has a toyota hi lux which is great but a bit big for me. I have seen the ford ones too that are quite cheap but do you know of any other makes that aren't too expensive?

Quick update, I have bought a car that looks like it will be perfect for my needs - a nissan x trail. It is fab and has a built in boot liner but even under that it is solid rather than carpet. The back of the book is also made of solid stuff rather than carpet and it has leather interior should the dogs ever make it into the back seat.
