    Just get any car, fit a tow hook and get yourself a trailer with a cage, and transport them in that. Any car is going to smell of dogs if you continue to use it to transport dogs that are wet, dirty and covered in sh*t.

    The Berlingo can make you look like a erm, y'know...

    I have two dogs and my car doesnt smell. They both sit happily in the boot. Non malting dogs are the ones that dont smell to be honest.

    Are you sure it is not just that you can't smell them?

    It reminds me of that old joke..

    I say, I say, my dog has no nose.

    How does he smell?

    Terrible!

    I thought Id managed to keep our new car fresh but I gave my son a lift last week and first thing he said was, "Nice to smell the dogs in here now, mum".

    I have a Subaru legacy outback which I have bought a fitted waterproof rubber insert in the boot that makes it easy to clean and keep smells to a minimum. You can buy them specifically fitted for your car

    I have never fancied driving an estate car either

    Now you are really pushing it a bit

    BUT

    Dogs = Estate Cars

    (OK many hatchbacks will do fine)

    Eggzackerly.

    I thought our house didn't smell of dogs until I started working away during the week. The doggy smell was quite noticable when I came home at the weekend.

    Definitely not an estate or a trailer or a van. What about some of the cheaper MPV's like Kia's or Hyundai's. Any experience of them? At this rate I will just have to keep fumigating the honda....

    An estate is about the only thing with enough room....... so I think you're going to struggle to find anything suitable if you don't want an estate :rotfl:
