Thinking of taking sky hd with multi room. Apart from the £10 subscription a month I have to pay for HD, what else do I need to pay? I have already got sky + with sports and paid about £45 a month. Thanks

On top of what you normally pay you will have the £10 sub for multiroom and the £10 sub for HD. If you were to also take HD on the 2nd box that would be another £10 as well.

So either £20 or £30 extra.

Thanks, will let you know, needs to sort out a new tv for the bedroom first. I have emailed sky and threatened to go to virgin. Hopefully they will give me a deal. They are increasing my bb to £7.50 a month unlimited and I am a light user and do not need unlimited but 2gb at £5 is too low for me. Is the recommend a friend for existing customer as well?

I forgot to mention, besides paying £10 subscription for multiroom, do you get a free sky+ box or will the engineer uses the current sky+box for the other room. Thanks

The engineer would relocate your current Sky+ box to the other room.

Hmm, apparently not :( I read the part of the offer about free install if you added multiroom but Sky say that is not what they are offering and it is only for new customer!

Not sure what you have been offered. I understood you could get Sky+HD box for free on self install if you pay £10 per month HD subs (12 mth contract), or £49 box with no HD subs (and only free HD channels like BBc/ITV)

I have to ask about this self install malarky. Exactly what would one be required to do?
