It's total codswallop. If it doesn't turn up it's the seller's problem to deal with RM, not the buyer's. Can you imagine the consumer outcry that would occur if, say, Amazon started saying 'not our problem' if goods started not turning up? It's the seller's responsibility to get it to the buyer, so if it doesn't get there it's the seller that has to sort it out.

    Thanks for that.

the feedback looks good so I don't see any problems ..but is reassuring to know that that paragraph has no validity.

    Thanks again

His listings give me a headache! Too many font changes, colour changes, all caps, underlined and bold. Egh!

Also has no one ever told him that all caps on the Internet is considered shouting? I don't like my T&C's being shouted at me :p

What you need to think if the seller is that clueless on the rules. What else is he clueless on. When you see silly T&cs like this you should run away it wont be worth the hassle

I have a quick question along the same lines ...

I am thinking of buying off ebay and this is in the T & C's on the page

    Is that right ?

If the item does not turn up where do I stand ?

    Sorry for thread stealing .:)

No it isn't, pay by paypal and it is their responsibility and you should* get a refund.

*But this is paypal and they are a law unto themselves
