can you believe it!!!!!!!!
Me and my dad had a looksie at the meters today, and we did what you said - we turned the big main switch off from my apartment and guess what.............it turned the sales office
Guess what.........i flicked the big main switch off for the sales office and yes, you guessed it - it turned off my apartment
I have been paying for barratt homes sales office electric. Eon fitted all the meters into Barratt homes including my plot and they have labelled them all up incorrectly
After all this 2 and throwing, on the phone, repeating myself constantly and getting no joy. Nobody was willing to come out and check the meter and everyone was basically calling me a lyer and fobbing me off. Now that i found this out, everyones coming to look. Ive got Eon coming out along with Barratts and Atlantic! What an absolute JOKE!!!!!!!!!0 -
I had exactly the same problem with my gas, except it was confused with another flat.
It can take quite a while for the problem to be fixed, but EDF sorted the problem out with never needing to visit. They then adjusted my bill back to when I moved in and reissued a new bill based on the correct readings.0 -
Ive got to say Atlantic electric have been very patient with me and helped more than Eon and Barratt put together. They are going to sort everything. I have made an official complaint to both Eon and Barratt homes. If they still expect me to pay anything after this, they have another thing coming!0

So when you use the readings from the meter that is for your apartment, what will your bill be now? I am surprised that it took you so long to discover this, reading your meter regularly allows you to budget for your actual usage. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
