That just made me chuckle, although I know that you didn't mean it like it may appear... :D

You didnt have to stand in the queue! You could do ebanking or use ATM. You dont have to queue in any branch. Let me guess you queued at dinner time? Well duh it is bound to busy aint it! Honestly moaners and groaners get a life for gods sake. There are more important things in life.

If that was aimed at me then no i didn't queue at dinner time and yes i did have to go into the branch. I am self employed so used to go in at possibly over time all ponts throughout the day and it was always terrible..friends who use it say the same..i'm just the sensibel one to have left them to it!!
Oh and getting a life..yeah i completely agree which is why i didn't much like spending half of mine queuing up!!

Not an option if the !!!!!! have cancelled your debit card by mistake. Seeing as banks are only open during office hours and most people work full time during office hours, not exactly any other options.

Two weeks I've been waiting now and I still don't have a debit card. They're taking the pee frankly. And I will be moving banks.

Is anyone still having problems with the A&L website? I can't get in, but my card is working fine in cash machines.

    Thanks

Edit to say - spoke to them and apparently there's still some log on issues for 'some customers' but it's 'being worked on'.

I've been unable to login to my A&L internet banking for a few days now, but I did withdraw cash ok at the weekend.

However, I've just logged into my Egg World Mastercard account and tried to make a bill payment and it kept rejecting. I rang A&L and made the payment over the phone and when I asked whether they knew of any system issues, the chap at the end of the phone said there were no problems he was aware of!
