  • No actually, I have just looked at the race Passion site and I actually would be interested in purchasing one of their products for my own business use. Thanks OP for providing them with some free advertising.

Court is never worth it. That's the sad fact.

Possibly but had i seen a CCJ against the company i would not be in this position now, perhaps i can save someone else from going through what i have which is the whole point of this thread.

If others choose to view what is online and take it upon themselves to go ahead and order then that is fine, its their choice, im just putting up my experience so at least people can make an informed choice. It will certainly be interesting to see how the thread develops next year when my case is out of the way.

Maybe there will be glowing reports, maybe there will be many more unhappy customers.

Equaliser - Thank you for your concern but i am following advice from Trading standards and will continue to do so.

Just because you do not agree with that does not mean you are right and they are wrong.

Frankly I think the advice TSD is giving you is duff if they are saying to proceed to Court without trying to settle it.

Ask them to tell you about Part 1 of the Civil Procedure Rules....

Another famous poster pontificated for eons on the benefits of crying off to teacher. I await the settlement in this case, as I love my tax money being wasted!

One beggars if I was said judge, I would just ask you back into the play grounds to sort it by the Queensbury Rules

    OP, you have been Freddied

Its quite the opposite, Trading standards have been trying to sort it since March, you don't know all the ins and outs of it, its a long process but they have done everything possible for it not to have got to this stage.
  • Now back in the real world, a couple of weeks ago my trigger unit for my studio went on the blink. Tis about 3 years old now, so I contacted the supplier, sent said off to them and they have just returned a new one for nought.

Hows the camper van today? Still not got it fixed.

Please let us know when the court case is and we can all turn up to look at said van

Liz, Race Passion have no CCJ this is now slander for which we will take legal action why cant this just be sorted like we would like to do.

Liz never stated that Race Passion had a CCJ against them, she stated that had she seen one she may have reconsidered using the company.

I.E if this goes to small claims and a CCJ is placed against Race Passion it may put off buyers.

Seems to me you need to stop being so defensive. Incidentally, the word you are after is Libel NOT Slander.
