    Basically DD means they get the money on a set date. For utility bills been paid monthly not annually/quaterly it means they get money sooner so give you a discount.

    But for insurance they want it up front, so if you pay monthly you are taking out credit and get charged for it. Charged far to much in my opinion (18-25% usually).
    Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
