ppi and trust deeds

    Hi there

    If you were mis sold the PPI for any reaons then yes your entitled to request to have this refunded.

    They have 8 weeks to give you a decision, if they do not resolve or your not satisfied with the outcome you can then write back with further information if you want to, or take your complaint to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS).

    No you are right the fact that it is written in trust has no bearing on the decision or whether the policy was mis-sold or not.

    Hi there

    You should go back bu 6 years with no problems, but you can still even be successful from earlier PPI policies especially if you have the account number details and/or paperwork to support your cases.

    One of mine is that of 2001.

    Many on here have been successful from reclaims going back well into the 90's too.;)

    ok here goeas up date
    anyone know if this is a standard letter or are they tellling me they are not paying up
    first off my first letter was dated 23 march to loyds
    had a confirmation letter now this one today

    dear xxxx
    i wrote to you on 15 april as i have been investigating our complaint about your loan protection insurance

    in my last letteri explained that i hoped to provide you with a full response within 4 weeks
    i am sorry i am not in a posision to complets a final response
    contact fos etc etc etc
    then
    please be assured i will continue to investigate your complaint i expect to provide you with a full response shortly
    i must advise you our desicion will be made on evidence available to us we will not be able to review this desicion ag ain unless you provide me with new evidence we have not already taken into consideration
    standard? or them telling me to go away i am getting nothing :mad:
