planning my wedding in 11weeks - is it possible?!

hello again

i must say i have been completely overwhelmed by my friends and family they have all bn fab (well excpet mum saying that i look like a mushroom in my dress) all is going well

we have chosen songs, ive cn the rings brother in law buying the cake (but im choosing it!!) men are trying suits on on friday, ive cn my shoes,

need good florist for my bouquet and buttonholes (i want red flowers even though my scheme is gold and ivory i have always wanted a red bouquet)


we are so happy and excited and this feels like the best decision we have ever made

my mum is crazy sometimes, hence the reason i moved out at 18..

but she seems happy now about it think was cos she wasnt involved, but i wish she could have been but she had arrnaged to work!

plans coming along nicely except for a bust up btweeen OH and MIL...

hi i have more time today

yep the wedding has kind of comsumed every waking minute

MIL... meal is chicken .. "oh no we dont want CHICKEN..." 3 days later she rang to say she had rung around some relatives who would all prefer beef "so order about 12 beef to be on safe side" i nearly told her to "go away" (but phrased more strongly!) also she is complaining that OH wants to hire a suit for the wedding when they bought him anice one for Xmas... why cant he wear that one ? and FIL has a nice suit thatll save him "wasting" money on a wedding suit (btw the FIL is paying £200 to hire a white suit for the 5th cruise tey have been on this year, i think that puts it into perspective a bit ... ) also they have a "poor" dog who will b left on her own all day while we get married (selfish old us!)
and she kicked off cos OH didnt ask his brother to be usher even though hed spoke to borther who was fine about ti and didnt wanna really do it as hes really shy

kind of makes my mums mushroom comment seem almost pleasant !!! btw she has now retracted and sed its gorgeous but not as nice as one she has seen in a shop window

but we are remaing calm and our mantra is its our day .. our way

everything os going really really well and we are so organised, well i am, the groom only has to get his uits ad es soo stressed with "the wedding organisation" he is having to do

LOL

im really enjoying it and even finding allthe hassle amusing, which helps !

she is normally okay yes but never goes newer cept their local wmc and doesnt hav great social skills !!

hiya

we ordered the mens suits on saturday and manged to get 5 out of 6 of them measured up. went back on sunday to get dad measured and realised the woman didnt know what we had ordered whni asked her to check she had ordered wrong colours!!!!

keeping calm though and all is resolved now

still need to go to registry office and give notice, find a DJ (or use hotel one) and sort out flowers and my tiara and grooms shoes. thonk thats it really then. oh and the sruff for tables but ive seen favours and know what i want for the tbale decorations

all in all going well

and i wont have anyone try to tell me what to have or do!! OH nealry gave them ther money back as i think cos they have contributed they wanna make decisions#
