Lib Dems & Tories... Can they work together?

with the worst recession since the 2nd world war the tories can't even get an overall majority. that's tragic for the tory party. just tragic to see how distant they are from people.0

Actually Chucky, I'm starting to think it's you that's distant from people. Normal ones at any rate.
would you like me more if i said nice things about David Cameron or Osborne?
don't answer that i know the answer...0 -

and who is a 'normal' person nick? this is the problem with many tories. they think they are the normal majority and anyone else is a 'weirdo' or 'loony'. you see it all the time with pro-conservative posters on here. all to ready to call people weird or strange just because they don't agree with them. Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -

Sorry, what was that you were saying about tools?
it's a bit like putting lemon pie and two different chocolate desserts on the menu and saying lemon pie is the most popular even though most people chose chocolate.....Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -

Erm, no.
What you have done is basically lumped the lib dems and labour together and counted them as one, to somehow make the point that more people voted for these two parties together.
Labour are not the lib dems, and lib dems are not labour. Therefore you cannot count them as "one" just because you don't like the other party, and want to make a point that because you count them as one, actually, less people voted tory.0 -

Sorry, what was that you were saying about tools?thanks Nick - after reading your blog yesterday (that you continually advertise and promote on here) i started to realise why more people didn't want to vote Conservative. you sound like a right tool

so what would happen if the lib dems said screw you to cameron and didnt want to form a coaliton with brown who would be in charge then
DC would try for the other parties....which he could then win
LAbour have nothing without the Lib dems
or
if no parties join
DC can go it alone as he has the highest number of votes (unlikely)If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0
