no wonder you're getting all heated up and annoyed if you don't understand the posts...

Ninky said that Devon voted conservative because of his constant conservative leanings.
    Devon denied it.
Ninky confirmed that it was her that said that Devon voted Conservative

do you understand now? it's not really that complicated?
do keep up in those cheap seats Robert...

has anyone mentioned that the tories and libs could never se eye to eye on europe as they oppose each other on it-the Eu countries dont want the mix or the tories.
Personally i think Gordon will make a pact and then retire to do charity work--he was shewd dropping his opposition to PR a few months ago

clegg would do well to listen to his own voters and party rather than the clamouring voices of the other parties. all indicators show that the majority of lib dem voters would prefer a coalition with labour than the conservatives. surely this is the most important factor?

So clegg listens to his voters, or these disgruntled ones.

    He joins up with labour.

They still don't have enough seats to form a government.

Then what? What have the Lib Dems got out of that exactly?

All they will have done is aligned themselves with labour, and most importantly, Brown, with no hope of going anywhere, unless they bring in yet more parties, with more interference, or, indeed, no interference, but pay offs.

If they start paying off others, such as the DUP, or Plaid Cymru (sp), that won't go down well at all. If they don't pay them off, the parties won't be interested in joining up.

Suddenly, Clegg has joined a party, with no majority, unless they basically bring up all the issues we have just had for a year, spin, lies, payoffs, buying their way through to Number 10.....nothing like "cleaning up politics" Clegg went on about for so long.

So thats brilliant. They join up with the labour ranks, and get no where, or stick two fingers up to the clean up of politics and buy their way into power along with possibly one of the most disliked PM's since Maggie.

Some supporters need to open their eys and see past the "tories = nasty" line. Can you tell me how clegg would do well to listen to his voters?

what about lib dem policies? do you and fellow conservatives support them? and if so, which ones?
How can I speak for ''fellow conservatives''? I voted conservative in lieu of a more approprate option BTW, as I have siad before.

Not that I expect you to remember....which is why I found it odd that snooze is meant to remember your sex!

    well what is the alternative?

form a coaltion with the tories. find that most your mps vote with the labour party anyway. another election has to be called and you've lost most of your supporters to labour because they didn't like you offering support to the tories.

    works for me.:D

not sure it works for clegg.

well you could speak for yourself.

what do you think of lib dem policies on scrapping trident, robin hood tax, pr, immigration amnesty etc?

most of us vote for what we vote for in lieu of a more appropriate option afaik.
