A Decent Man

Just heard Clegg saying Tories got most seats / votes therefore they should have chance to form government. He could have played it the 'Mandelson' way but he didn't. I am impressed by his integrity.

I must admit I quite like him and would have voted for the Liberal democrats...but just couldn't because of their defence policy.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

But he did also say that reform of the electoral system would be a key priority for him.....

Will the tories agree to PR?

What's the problem with their defence policy? Not an attack, just curious for views.

I don't agree with the cancelling of the current orders for arms, I don't agree with not being able to respond to an attack due to out of date machinery and I don't agree with making this country vulnerable to attack because of the above.

I hope they sort something out. I bet most on here would accept a Tory cabinet but with Clegg as deputy PM and Cable as Chancellor.

A Lib/Tory Coalition would cost the country Less than the Torys trying to Pick up Welsh, Scottish and NI support.

'have chance to form government' is the key phrase. they might not be able to, esp if PR is a requirement for any lib dem support. So, they 'had a chance'...

Yeah, fancy not wanting to spend hundreds of billions of pounds on a unnecessary renewal of a US cold war nuclear deterrent that is almost completely dependent on America to operate.

    Madness.

By the way if I agree to pay all your petrol bills for the next 50 years is it ok if I borrow your car once or twice?

First thing they will need is an angle grinder to cut through the chains that Gordon has attached himself to No10 with.
