Morning all. It is freezing cold here. Day off today - up before 7 then fell asleep again until work phone rang :( I emailed an email last night without an attachment so my manager needed it redone. Thank goodness I'd fallen asleep and not gone out yet.

DH and I have day off to spend together to celebrate our anniversary. Currently I'm waking up and he is at the garage but will def shower and get sorted soon. Work has been so busy that we've not yet decided where to go today.

Election results are interesting. My poling station only had us in it at 21.30 last night. Perhaps my neighbours all get up early? :D

Claire - I expect he is just trying to displace his guilt. Can you ignore him - look at him and mentally replace his words with "blah, blah, blah" then let it wash over you?

Anyway the cakes have gone down well with work, people are coming back for seconds! So that's surely a good sign? [Insert confused smile!]

well 2 bedrooms down, they just need hoovering (but hoover broke)

Nathan has just cooked me eggs for breakfast, so sat eating then starting down stairs (ds1 can do his own bedroom hes 16 now)

still got ironing to do too and there are a few piles of clothes on my bed to be put away, that can be done after the ironing that way all the clothes get put away together.

The one complete side of the bathroom has now been cleaned of grout on the tiles and a base coat has been put on the wall. (will take picslater :))

  • Morning ladies

dont often get chance to pop in here but i need a whinge so thought i would lol

Got a grant the other week for some cavity wall and loft insulation, when they turned up on time this morning to do the walls i should have guessed it was too good to be true!

They drilled from my garage into my living room and left a bloody great hole, plaster on the floor the lot, then noticing i have decorating stuff said " your husband can plaster it up cant he"

why do i feel if i was a fella they wouldnt have said this?? and im sure as i sit here now i can hear more plaster falling in different places behind me but too scared to look

    xx
