I recommended EBuyer when my old company was buying a new PC, and since then I've had no problem with them. I hope they stay afloat.0

I just used them yesterday put paid by cc just in case
They do have abad reputation they were even mentioned in several pc magazines and also BBC R4 you and yours program.
I did hear things had improved recently, lets hope so.
Also there isa problem with tracking on Quidco, I checked yesterday after a few hours after buying some stuff and there Quidco tracking said refused. I was about to fill in a enquiror when it said that there is a problem with tracking but they do pay.0 -

Ebuyer had a load of unsettled CCJs against them; at least they did last time I looked.
You can get the latest status from Registry Trust Limited, but it costs £8.00."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -

FWIW I ordered £200 worth of computer gear last week (including the keyboard I'm typing this on) and it turned up as scheduled today.
FU&D become self fulfilling - why would anyone ever pay by other than credit card if they had a choice to do so?0 -
I just was checking cashback, and I saw refused so I thought well I have time to cancel order and posible reorder, as it takes a couple of days to assign and send goods from them if you choose the right delivery method.
I just checked on Quidco and it stated that theres a tracking problem so I didnt actually do anything I left it be.0 -
I won't be sad to see them go under, in fact they deserve to for their non-existant customer service! All those who say 'you get what you pay for, they are cheap so you should not expect customer service', well thats rubbish. What a poor excuse for lack of service. Any shop, no matter how cheap, needs to have proper customer service, or people will buy from another cheap shop which does have a good reputation - Which is what is probably happening. If you order and the thing gets to your door you have no problems but you have been lucky and buying should not be a gamble. I just did a search on google and the amount of 'e buyer sucks' websites that are around for disgruntled customers is amazing.
In my experience, you can't phone them, you can't email them (they do not respond to emails). All you can do is use their stupid 'ticket' system and hope and prey they will get back to you someday, and then its usually a message that doesn't help at all.
Good riddance, the customer wins.0 -

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.0 -

mine was going on for 12 months though!!!
Ebuyer is a waste of space there customer support is rubbish!
There used to be a site called ebuyerdotcon.co.uk but ebuyer got it closed down!
Seems like it did its job though!
I would never buy from them again!0 -
They should check their prices more often. Quite a lot i check products, and they end up being more expensive for that one perticular item.0

Taes up to 6 months for the ebuyer cashback to be tracked and approve - it shows as declined until then, I sent an email asking about it, due to get £10 cashback, but i've not had problems with ebuyer, just bought £600 of prts, all in working, perfect order~*Cerenia*~
