Hi
I came across these 2 articles concerning Ebuyer.com's financial standing and thought that others might want to read before parting with money to Ebuyer.
http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=6426
http://www.microscope.co.uk/articles/article.asp?liArticleID=139472&liArticleTypeID=1&liCategoryID=6&liChannelID=18&liFlavourID=2&sSearch=&nPage=1
I hope Ebuyer sort themselves out as they provide good competition in the market place.
Cheers
Simon

I shalln't shed any tears if they do go under. I spent over £3k with them last year and when I had a problem with an item they didn't want to know. I took my business elsewhere.0

Interesting read but no problem as long as people buy with their credit cards.0

This may well stem from the amount of investment in new premises, etc. (they are in the process of moving from Sheffield to Leeds) rather than profitability. More business go bust through poor cash flow (especially as a result of badly managed expansion!) than just not being profitable. As long as the creditors give them some breathing space then eBuyer should hang around.EGG are a bunch of complete bankers!0

I will definately still be buying from them. I have ordered a fair few products and they have all been on time. I have nothing but praise for them."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,
He will kill your cat and nail him to the door"

Yes I know of a lot of people who sing their praises, I bet all their customers who have never had a problem or cause to need to return anything...0

I purchased two computers from them in the new year, I had a problem with the firmware recently so contacted them by phone. They were more than helpful, I returned my 'duff' PC's on the Monday afternoon and received two brand new replacement PC's on the Wednesday morning, Brilliant service and highly recommended!0 -

Indeed....Good catch.0 -
You are also not covered if you are buying for a business. Their T&C are different and you get little protection.qui tacet consentire -

I've bought from them before and most of their stuff is cheap and nasty stuff anyway.
Their delivery times are rubbish and all. Can't say i'll be sorry to see them go under, but good luck to them anyway.0
