    I have a few questions as well before I buy :o :

    1) I want to buy the Nokia 1101 (free when bought with £20 credit). Do I have to register the phone in order to receive £14 cashback through Quidco?

    2) If I bought the sim for £2 with £12 credit does this have to be topped up, on top of the original credit, to receive £20 cashback?

    3) Are there any hidden fees attatched the cancellation of the sims with Easymobile?

    1) I understand that previous experience is that the SIM must be registered to get the QUIDCO payout. You can still register and activate the SIM and never use it, but it must be registered and activated with EasyMobile.

    2) I dont think so - but again the SIM must be activated.

    3) There is a £5 admin charge if you wish to get any credit (other than the 'free' credit) you put on the phone refunded. There is no other charge for cancelling (i.e. if you had bought the £1 SIM, got £10 free credit - you could cancel with no refund, or pay £5 to get your £1 back!)
  • Ordered mine yesterday - and it arrived Royal Mail Special Delivery 10am this morning.

Only problem was that the £20 promotional airtime voucher wasn't enclosed - and although it was itemised on yesterday's emailed order acknowledgment, it wasn't listed on the delivery note with the phone.
Phone calls to two 0845 numbers were answered very promptly and it's promised that the missing voucher will be posted to me.

From the way my phone call about a missing voucher was accepted without question, I guess it must be quite a common problem.
Full marks however to Easymobile phone staff for stressing "don't try to register online until you have the voucher, or else you won't get the £20 airtime credit."

As this was my first Quidco purchase, it will be interesting to see whether I get the cashback or whether my browser cookie settings were messed up.
  • Sorry, just one last question :o :

Do I have to purchase the phone under one name and the sim card under another in order to get the cashback? I read that some orders weren't being put through as it was only one sim per customer?

If you buy the phone, you will get a SIM with it - i.e. for £20 you get the phone, a SIM, and a voucher for £20 WHICH CAN ONLY BE USED WHEN YOU REGISTER THE SIM.

I believe that you will not get the QUIDCO £14 unless the SIM is registered and sctivated with easyMobile.

I believe the limit is 5 SIMs - I personally ordered and recived 2 phones and 2 SIM only packs (outlay £42, QUIDCO £68 + whatever I can get for the phones from friends and family !!) over the space of 2 days.

I was just on Quidco and on the Easymobile page it says the following:
£20 - for a sim pack and purchase of initial credit (within 60 days of successfully registering the sim pack) - register your sim immediately.

Please read the following before proceeding:

***You must register and place credit on your SIM***

Is the 'place credit on your Sim' covered by the £12 credit that comes with the sim only deal?

Has anyone actually received the cash throguh Quidco without topping up the sim any further?

Sorry to be such a pain in the a*se with all the questions :o !

Yup me too, now I got a new voucher and registered. I also put an extra £1 on to make sure and test system.

I was told they have had a few go missing or not sent out, but my box seal was broken so I thought it had been removed.
  • Hi Everyone,

I wondered if anyone could help me unlock my Nokia 1100 on EasyMobile UK?

    The IMEI is: 358375008913984

If anyone could help that would be great!

    Thanks!

Just in case it helps! There is a geographic no. for Easymobile customer services that you can use instead of the 0845 no. - 01438846030.
