well one of the tops I was going to list my other half veto'ed when I put it on to take a picture of it... actually his words were "You ain't seriously thinking of selling that top are you???? It looks gorgeous!!!"... so it's been added to my "must wear when I want something from oh pile" ;)

I think he might actually cry when I list my thigh length pvc boots lol but they are just too painful to wear :)

Hi, I listed 9 items for the first time last night and i've got 2 bids so far and about 12 watchers on other items. The 2 bids equate to £6.98 (always something) but may go up you never know.

I'm glad I've got the hang of it anyway... :j

    Good luck guys

There is a thread with advice on the ebay board http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=239646

I find Amazon a lot easier than eBay in many ways - once you've registered you just put in the ISBN number of the book and choose a price - it will tell you what the book is listed as by others - I just choose a slightly lower price than the lowest! Amazon does the rest. There is no charge to list but higher commissions if you sell. Amazon deals with payments (including a postage charge) and credits you with your money after commission but with a postage credit. You can then have it paid to your bank account.

Important to find the right books though - some are listed at a penny - that kind I keep for eBay or the car boot. But more unusual books, text books, hardbacks - have made much more on Amazon than would've done on eBay even with commission etc.

Please don't undercut other prices - it just drives everyone's prices down as a lot of people have software that matches the lowest price = this is why there are so many 1p books. I used to undercut when I started until someone on here explained it to me. If you match the lowest price it will still give youthe lowest pr4ice logo but not start a bidding war.

I am going to strip my old dyson hoover and sell all the parts as spares,
will let you know if it works.
