  • Not great this week. Seems really slow - have watchers on most things but they're not turning into bidders... :(

Am making more on other things at the moment - Quidco, Amazon, have even just started matched betting yesterday and am about to make my first £25 profit! (Plus £50 tracked on quidco for joining the betting sites!). More promising than eBay at the moment for me - though it won't get the clutter out of my house! :)

I've put a comic up that I think is quite valuable. I've seen it go for £35 before, and seeing as i paid £1.99 for it, I am hopeful. 6 days to go...!

I hope you put a decent start price on it rather than risk it going too cheap. Ebay is a bit slow at the moment and I have been buying a few bits and bobs for much less than I would ordinarily expect to pay.

I must say that I have exceeded all my expectations this month. I made over £200 alone last weekend and still have 17 items left to go :j two have bids and all the others have numerous watchers which will hopefully place a bid.

So my Christmas present fund is growing quite nicely :D

I cant beleive that I was going to throw these things out or better still give them to a charity shop.

It just goes to show that your junk can be someone elses treasure :money:

  • I was doing pretty well and have been posting my paypal balance from my August Ebay sales in my signature. This is having to change now as I have been buying things for Christmas out of it and it is now down slightly - I also transferred £80 to my bank account to help pay for my weekend away and the Xmas gifts I got when I was away! Now changing it to reflect the total price of the items sold as this is probably more realistic after taking into account P&P and fees.......Currently £142.67!!!!! :)

Just a query - is there going to be a september e-bay challenge? If ther is can I join (never been much of a a trend setter, don't like going first)

I'm on holiday for the first two weeks and it was my plan to sell anything I can, even clear out my old room at my parents. (And possibly my brothers, he'd never notice and it would keep my mum happy!)
Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

  • Well I have made 90.00 so far. I am quite pleased with that as I have some stuff still on there. I am definately going to do this again in September.

I'll clear that credit card balance yet!!!

Total sales for August were £172.86 which wasn't bad as it was only in last two weeks that I had stuff selling!........Am away to dig out more to list the now - if its not nailed/screwed/glued down it will be doing a disappearing act!!!! (OH has still not forgiven me for selling the biscuit tins a couple of months ago so he better have learned his lesson!!!).
