I am quite happy about the outcome of the election - I will probably regret it in the months to come but hey - they all screw us however they can!

any where he's not in charge - even Greece is looking good! (those debates on t.v. i thought he looked like a thunderbird with the big shiny forehead, and narrow lips, the others didnt look much better though!)
mind you there wasnt much to pick and choose between them - they all spout what they think we want to hear.

well I'm unsure what lies ahead for us all. don't feel particularly good about the political situation if I'm objective but personally a huge weight that had been on me for nearly 18 months has been lifted and which has seen many people I know seriously considering emigration including myself. I have cried many times at the prospect and right now I don't have to consider it any more.
so I feel relief but not gladness if that makes sense.
