mambury whatever your selling at at those margins is superb. depending on the item in question they will probably make you a lot of money as well. my OH amy has a great eyes for bargains in charity shops and recently been making a killing as our local one is doing fill a carrier bag of clothing for £1 so have been buying up 5 or so bags each time (go in around twice a week to check for new stock) and it has been flying out for us. averaging £1.99 an item on there and fitting in 10 items in a bag giving us a very healthy profit.

yep!! The rest of the margin aren't quite so healthy but respectable.... these make up for the other items!

I'm not sure how I would feel if it was stolen though as it's value is around the £800 mark plus fitted upgrades and I'm insured but just the thought of someone coming in my house where my kids are is enough for me to say no. Besides, I'm busy tonight, tomorrow and thursday aren't possible and it ends on Friday so I doubt there would be a suitable time to view.

yes well my personal view has been never to allow view except for one expection before when we listed my OH scooter and someone didnt believe us that is only has 798 miles on the clock from new (we bought it new 3 years before selling as my OH work was less than 5 min ride away and never used for anything else). My mum had an issue before with someone viewing and police being called as he was makes threats towards her (luckily we were moving nexy day so didnt matter if he tried to call around again)

When people ask the question, I make sure they believe it is totally acceptable on my part... Typical response..

"Hi, Thank you for your enquiry.

Of course you can come and view the item when we are both free, However I am leaving for a business trip and will be leaving first thing tomorrow morning returning late thursday evening. I can try and arrange someone to be in but cant guarantee this will be possible."

    Argh I hate spammers!

Did all my mystery shops today. One was so easy as the thing I was meant to look for wasn't there. So only a 2 question report and I get the full fee :j.

Finally spent my birthday money on a pretty little dress. :D

I found this thread really useful (although I don't really ask many questions on it)
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2371289

I find that Retail Eyes is the best for work in my area. Just a bit trial and error tho. TNS have some good bank jobs with a hefty fee. Just be aware that you cannot dicuss clients etc with anyone as you sign a confidentiality thing.

Quite good though, so far today I;ve god a fee for nought, my lunch for nought, bought a birthday pressie for nought and I think I'm almost nearing 3 figures this month :D.

    Any questions lemmi know!
