This is the imperfectionist link (thanks Jo for introducing me to this blog).
I still haven't gone and done anything useful, apart from finishing off last night's popcorn lol.
Off out to the carnival this evening - my nephew's a spider :) Got so much to do before then but no inclination. Just feel like dribbling today.
Paula you must be some kind of superwoman managing with 3 children and a dog! I could look after my dog or my nephew but not to the two together!

Ps thanks Bingo-you've got us all dribbling again...and why would you start up your own thread..thought you already had one?

Yup - why not pop over to the Flylady thread, then you can get some hints on how to dust off a thread that died 6 months ago.

Dribblers - are any of you aware that in Oz, BOB stands for Battery Operated Boyfriend? :rotfl::rotfl:

aaahhh.... I think I have a line of BOB's on my site!! :)

I missed the added lines.... Bingo... I am very dissapointed. I think you have now cut your cloth.... It is a shame as we were all more than happy to help you as we do everyone else here, but I think that feeling has dissapeared.

Now it really would be a shame to loose this thread as I guess its not just us dribblers that benefit from it.

Still, if you are lurking (and I imagine that you are).... Be ashamed, be very ashamed.

And thats the last I will say on the matter.

  • Nicely put, Mambury. I concur!

Had a dreadful nights sleep...OH falls asleep with the TV on, which usually I sleep through. I couldn't last night though...the DVD finished and went back to the menu screen, and played the same bit of music every minute for an hour. Eventually had to turn it off, even though I had to wake him up to get to the TV. Then started hearing a funny noise...sounded like a mouse scratching at cardboard. Again, every minute or so...kept me awake for hours and hours. Was about 5am when I go to sleep...then this morning OH says it was an open packet of cookies he'd left in front of the fan, the packet was hitting the cardboard and scratching it. Gggrrr!

Anyway, hello everyone :) (22 days!)

How frustrating Saucy, I hate nights like that. On the plus side you should sleep better tonight.

Happy weekend everyone. I've had a lovely day so far. Got up at 5.30 to take my sis and BIL to Doncaster train station - she is treating him to a day in London as it's their anniversary today.

I got home at 7.30am and got stuck in to some serious housework totally by accident - I set my timer for 15 mins to do my kitchen and ended up doing the whole downstairs. In 15 mins!!

Then I totally emptied the tortoise enclosure out, cleaned it, and restyled the inside. They now have a pebble beach, an earthy mountain to dig in with two caves to hide inside, and a big pile of aubiose (like hay stuff) to dig in. They charged round exploring every nook and cranny, had some food and then dug themselves in and went to sleep!

Then I treated myself to some Jonathan Creek - I recorded the first series as I can't remember it - and fell asleep on the settee! Woke up with one of my cats snuggled on my chest and was really chuffed as he is the one that was a rescue cat and doesn't like sitting on knees as he feels a bit unsafe. We have progress!!

Now I'm off to do 15 mins clearing the mess I've made on the spare room carpet cleaning the enclosure out. Then a nice cup of tea and a French Fancy I think.

    I love weekends!!

Oh, I forget you have tortoises! Ace :) and I've just had an argument with OH about why we're not recording Jonathan Creek lol, turns out it's because it's on Watch and we don't have it. But I still blame him. Well done on the cleaning! I was so unmotivated yesterday that I didn't get any rummaging done at all - all I did was take all the kids' toys upstairs and dump them in the girls' room. Tomorrow I will be having a teddy and toy cull. OH is leaving it to me because I am the heartless one apparently. If it was left to him we'd be living in one of those houses where you're in danger of everything collapsing on you and nobody finding you for three months...
I'm working on Take Two of the wedding couple I have on Etsy, the bride is doing my head in and i'm having to resist the temptation to squish her with my fist.
...Saucy did you get that book, and what did you think if you did? :) xx
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
