OOh, tenfoots, what a great Hull word! We had a tenfoot at the back of our house but nobody used it for anything and the only thing I remember about it is that someone was down it and set fire to the back of our garage once...

Oh no, I just have read back and seen it all! Lordy. What's quite funny though is that the two sentences it added don't even fit with the next bit! Why would she say say go away, you are a horrible person, then invite it to stay? Mentalist. I love the Dribblers
Lol can tell you don't have kids yet, since having mine I can't stay in bed past about nine, it's no good lol. My sister's got the littlest one and my dad the two oldest and they've both been woken up at five this morning, my dad's not very happy and my sister made her husband get up at eight and went back to bed!
That was so sad and so sweet about your nephew and the ducks. I haven't had a proper look at Jo's pics yet, OH keeps hogging the computer. Do you think you might get some more? A tenfoot is like the back of a row of houses, I suppose you might call it an alley? I know what you mean about a wake but it's quite funny because you got that from 'six feet under' didn't you? Hehe ugh OH's nicking the laptop AGAIN!! He's trying to sort out a load of lego he got someone into sets either to sell or to give to the kids at Christmas, and he needs to download and print out instructions - have I said he's off to the Antarctic at Christmas for four and a half weeks? He's off on a research trip to look at krill, he won't get paid but it's good experience and he might get asked to go on a paid trip in the future. He's going to record himself reading stories to the kids so I can play them at bedtime i'll be back later anyway, and he's out tonight so I get to dribble properly for the first time in ages. No I think I killed it, I'm 'allowed' the laptop back while he eats the sandwich I made him! Going to look at the 123 website thing, as then I can get a Twitter thing and talk about my stuff and your lot's stuff and it'll all be good...hopefully! Mabel, if you're about, I keep looking at the wedding shop near me and wondering if I could put a card or flyer in there - I got my dress from there and have a feeling they have stuff up in the changing room although i could be wrong. Got my driving test on the 18th (I'm staying in a B&B the night before so to be calm and not have had kids swinging off me all morning beforehand) so when I get a car I'll put some posters in the windows for people to notice. Ermm.... that's all the ideas I have right now and the car one might not be great. Just trying to think of promoting ideas. La la la...xx

Paula do you mean for your toppers or for my jewelery? i'm easily confused as well! You should def go round all your wedding shops and leave your cards-you never know! Also florists as flowers and cakes seem to be ordered at the same time usually (no idea why?!)

Wow Paula that sounds an amazing opportunity for OH. That's so thoughtful about him taping bedtime stories It must be quite hard for you as it's over christmas time but i guess at least that means there's a lot to focus on and a lot of distractions.

Good luck for your driving test! I remember mine (2nd attempt), my leg wouldn't stop bouncing up and down from nerves everytime i stopped at traffic lights or junctions, i think the examiner thought i was a bit crazy. It took about 6 attempts to reverse park as there was a bin behind me that i didn't want to knock down and so i thought i'd blown it but she said she was impressed that i didn't give up. So even if you feel you've made any mistakes, stick with it. I'm sure you'll do fine - we'll be thinking of you

Your jewellery, I don't think I'm where I am with my clay yet to have pics accepted in shops, but yes I hope to do the same later on. Just thought it was a bit more exposure, and I walk past the place all the time so I keep thinking about it! Florists is a good idea too thanks I guess they'd go together because of the colour scheme thing? Some people have flowers on cakes don't they, like that really pretty purple one Skint did. Have you got a card or flyer or summat?
I'm glad I didn't tell Bing0 to nob off the other day now, I was really tempted but as it is it's ended in a more dignified way. Must use this as a life lesson; keep quiet and pretend you're nice' lol xx
