Maybe you could go to a nice local bakery and see if they'd display a couple of your little clay people in the window.

I can see Bob somehow turning up in the next smirkenville instalment now...:)
Thanks Em, it's good to hear other people succeed despite nerves, that's lovely about the driving instructor! I keep telling everyone I'll be fine without OH as I do everything anyway - I take three kids and a dog everywhere so nothing will be changing! -but I will obviously miss his company and the kids will be gutted. I'll be at my dad's for Christmas and hopefully I'll be driving by then so it will go smoothly. Did you find it really scary when you went out driving on your own the first few times? I'm convinced I'll be waiting for someone to tell me where to go and get completely stuck! xx
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

....do you not think I'd get arrested?

-OH has gone off to meet the people that run the life drawing class he might be modelling for. I've been trying to scare him by telling him he has to do a 'casting couch' style audition! :rotfl:

Haha yes it was really odd the first time i got into the car by myself but i soon loved the freedom and turned the music up, window open lol. In my old banger. One time when i lived in Warwickshire i went to visit a friend who lived in Brampton but i was daydreaming so much that i forgot to turn off the motorway and ended up on near to London - i'd carried on driving for an extra hour and a half without realising doh. I then got really lost and rang OH in tears and he has to try to guide me out without having a clue where i was. I ended up arriving at my friend's about 4 hours after i was meant to be there - it was so embarrassing, but funny to look back on.

First trip out was wierd but good! I put some music on to get over the fact that noone was talking to me!

I never had the confidence when I was younger, thought I'd be a menace and kill someone or myself. Am doing the paul Mckenna confidence thing Dilli gave me in the hope it helps :) Mabel, I'll PM you my address and you can do that, I haven't got a site set up yet so I'll do the cards once I have. Right, so I need some driving music...
Oh Em, I can imagine how upset you must have been but that's such a funny story! I was laughing out loud at him having to guide you back without knowing where you were! xx
