Hey Nikki..... Hows the pampering going??
REMEMBER - FREE LISTING TONIGHT FOR PRIVATE ACCOUNTS!
The pampering business is going ok. Starting to build up a client base which is good.
Paula - I'm doing well, you?
Argh, I'm going to list my old laptop on eBay but I'm so confused with the courier thing. Can anyone recommend one (preferably one thats idiot proof to use?) Lack of sleep is kicking in

well Paula I reckon your confidence IS coming on leaps and bounds AND its a work in progress. Just because you don't feel ready to deal with this stuff right now only means that you are still working towards it and don't know yet when you'll be ready for it. But you will be ready for it.
Saucy it can be really helpful to examine what messages we feed ourselves. always and never are very very rarely true but can deeply affect our mood.
So is it true that you never do anything right? is it absolutely true?
try and think of some things you do right or well however small or trivial eg I brush my teeth well, I drink tea superbly etc.
then think about how you feel when you believe that you never do anything right - even write it down.
Then think about how you would feel if you couldn't think I never do anything right - if it just wasn't possible to have that thought - and write that down.
then think of some turnarounds for the thought.
I never do anything right could be I often do things right or I never do things wrong. perhaps there is a way that that can be true eg if everything you do is about finding your way forward in the world then there may be painful or difficult things but probably not wrong things.
By the way this is roughly taken from "the work" a process devised by Byron Katie and widely well thought of. I find her too charismatic and get put off by the byron katie bandwagon but her technique is rooted in recognised methods such as NLP and is very effective if you take the time to physically do it eg do the writing too.

Trying to think who I used for the pram we sold, some generic courier company, maybe you could ask on the Ebay forum if nobody on here knows? I'm fine just tired and cross today, too hot lol. Brilliant you're doing so well on the client front - I kept wondering where you were as I wanted to say thank you for the snail gel recommendation, it's done absolute wonders for my skin - haven't had a spot since I started using it and I feel much better about not wearing makeup. Have I asked you before for advice on electrolysis? I've got a small area I desperately need to sort as I'm getting a right 'tache and I'm proper paranoid about it! xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0

Jo, that's just what I needed, to think of it that way - that's so helpful. If I think about it like, 'I'm going to be able to deal with that at some point', it's much better than if I feel disappointed because I can't deal with it at that point, and torture myself trying to figure out why. It only leads to depression because it's turning the anger inward which is what depression is. Cool. Thank you!

ooh Paula I meant to ask on here again about how people were getting on with the snail gel.

Jo I had planned to send you a sample once I found a container for it (the jar it comes in is glass) but you'd said something about reacting to certain things so I didn't - would you still like to try it? I need more lol! Anyway let me know, night xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0

Thank you so much Paula and Jo...it helps to think of it like that, and I think I have to start doing something about it now. I appreciate you taking the time to explain to me

Have a good night Paula, and thanks again.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
hi folks - just popped back on for a wee while -
elly -well done on the weight loss - i removed mine from my signature today - head buzzing with so much other stuff, will see if i can find your email address, by the way which junction is Dreghorn junction - is that the one before straiton - DS has scout camp at bonalyoutdoor centre next saturday then i have to pick him up the following Friday.
well done on the sales mambury!
Saucy - think what Amber says is right, also its a big step for you both so you will both be on edge and feeling vulnerable right now - better to have tried and failed than never have tried at all
Paula- dont know what to say am afraid, as i often feel like that too, especially when doing so much and trying to see to the kids, did have a wee laugh tho' had visions of merkin ear-rings dangling from your lugs, and glad you made clear that it was ear rings did have to read it twice to make sure that it was ear rings that you managed to get through the holes that you thought had closed up(wink wink)!
well havent done much but have made a ring of flowers - deep red roses to go round a black shiny cake for my sister in laws birthday - not that i like her that much but i need another cake for the website and saves buying her a present (thats my !!!!!y side coming out now), am going to make enquiries to see if i can get a trade card for the local florist wholesalers. getting ahead of myself now was thinking cake, bouquets and flowers in a package, all to match and i suppose i better look at the college and see if i can get some proper training at night classes for the cakes.
anybody got anything exciting planned for this week?skintbint x
