Since i read your post elly, i've had that song in my head - there was a farmer had a dog, And Bingo was his name-o. B-I-N-G-O! B - I - N - G - O and bingo was his name-o... I had remembered him as Bongo lol and thought you'd done a typo at first!

heehee Elly think you saw the post where I was suggesting an example for a mini move where people write as if it is already december 2010 and what they have achieved. My finances are most definitely in the red!!!

    Morning!!
I'm off to do a mystery shop today (free lunch) then I'm back to do my reports. Also get stuff listed on eBay.

Only spent £10 last night (on 2 drinks!!) but had no taxi fares etc. Took out £40 so still £30 left :j.

Still need to catch up on the rest of the thread!

Can' t really do a mini move tonight. been trying to make the weekend ones less moneymaking and more personal but any of the ideas feel a little trite tonight.
so my mini move for tomorrow is simply to send positive loving thoughts and vibes to Nixi and her DS as well as any one else we know who is poorly or struggling. please include Paula's gran, mamburys sister, and munchkis friend Paddys cousin, and our lovely Saucy. If there is anyone else I have missed please post.

thanks Jo - this is why we all love you so much!!!

    Todays jobs are....

    - list on ebay - FREE LISTING
    - stop children from killing each other!
    - Ironing
    - dinner & lunch
    - Job Application
    - Tidy House
    - More washing
    - work out what to do with clothes on ebay..... not selling as quickly as I would like..... but I need to make a profit.

I think that will do for today!

Skint - I had a look at your website...looks great!! I have a few ideas for you (please don't be upset!)
    - I would put your pricing on another page to make it easier to find with pics of what you are offering eg 3 tier plain wedding cake for £xxx etc
    - You need to add your T&C's too..... can I suggest that you charge 50% non refunable deposit with balance payable x days prior to you starting to make the cake. It might be an idea to make up an order form for clients with all this printed on so there is no confusion later on.
    - HOme page..... I would have a nice big picture of the cake you are proudest of..... and a write up of what you do..... and move all the info on this page to your pricing page. Might be worth getting some feedback from previous clients to add on here too....
    - by law you need to add your trading address to your site.
    - Can you scan copies of hygeine certs, any docs you have from the council to show that you are okay to trade. If you display these then it helps to add trust and give the client confidence in you.
    - Are you going to advertise your courses on there??? Might be worth it, if people come to order a cake from you they might just bok on a course too and of course visa versa too!
    - I would add something about you only use the highest quality ingredients too....

I am more that happy to help writing any of the content (used to copy write for a travel company!)

    any news on Nixi????

I've not seen anything from Nixi anywhere. would imagine it may be a while before we hear anything. Nixi is where she needs to be right now and prob not in a position to update the dribblers.
So hugs to us as well because it is unsettling not to know how they are doing.
