Hey Mabel, - Yeah the invalid file stream thingy... well to put it bluntly my site couldn’t be more effed than a pornstar in a gangbang quite frankly.

But, I am the queen of doo doo alchemy and I am determined to try and turn what is essentially crap into gold. So, I did a mini brainstorming session alone this avo and I realised that I need to get quite a few things in place. Also I had a few potentially bright ideas. Same thing here... no giveaways : )

Re design the homepage – it is too minimalist, too pretentious and not helpful enough there was very little that made the site feel ‘alive’. Also added social networking buttons... I have uploaded the pic online but if you wanna see PM me and I will send you a link everyone : )

Also in the process of designing a background/wallpaper for the blog, that needs to change too.

Evenstar – I have no idea if you are reading this or not, I really hope that you are. But, this thread is more than about money it is like a virtual support group of sorts that has helped all of us to boost our confidence, be brave and try things that we never tried before, and also a good place to vent and moan when the world weighs us down.

Evenstar, you have a lot going on... too much by the sounds of it to be dealing with alone and the best that you can do and keep on doing is coming here and venting.

I have seen so many turnarounds in the time that I have been a dribbler and though distance might separate all of us you are a digital hug away from people who genuinely care about you. But, also Even as I think you absorb a lot of the negative energy around you and you come across as a very gentle, sensitive soul who takes it all to heart – you have to have an outlet hun. Or all that you are going through will fester and turn into something much deeper.

Joey – You have got me super inspired today I have a lot of guilt objects around the house. And I am a classic hoarder/ pack rat. But, I know for me it is a comfort and safety thing as I know that I have this silly fear that somehow I will go without. I know where it all stems from but hey... I’m working on it.
Visited FlyLady today... I am going to start on Monday and I will add a flylady update to my sig.

AMBER! Yay... it feels so good to see you... I have been thinking about you today. I really hope you are well hun. You’ve been missed madam whiplash : ) Amber I will PM you my hotmail addy.

Other than that, just trying a bit of hyper reality... looking over my debts to see what I have paid off and what I haven’t, another thing that has stuck in my head from Mary Portas is that you can’t ‘play’ at running a business and when I get the site back on track I need to take what I am doing and where I am going more seriously.

I just need to get more discipline into my day otherwise I am going to fall behind and I can’t keep using excuses or dithering and blaming others. And although the crown Prince of Zamunda is a haemorrhoid at times... still no excuse. No obstacles no more nu-uh

Also the biggest cuddles and best wishes going out to everyone who needs them and for the dribblers who are MIA...

Hope you have all enjoyed my essay this fine evening... if you have been bored blame my broken blog this is where all my verbal diarrhoea would normally be directed.

Damnit, Dilli, you made me teary again! And OH asked what I was laughing about when I snorted about the haemorrhoid thing :) that's great you're so positive about your business, you seem really determined, ace :) I started Flylady today too, I have got a very shiny sink (the dirty dishes are as far away as possible from the sink so as not to spoil the effect) and a nice clean bathroom.
Toots, did your - think it was a relative? - say anything about the cake toppers? I can't afford to buy clay to make more examples atm so am sort of stuck, have got a bride and a groom and think will make a baby for a different type of cake topper, have got about enough clay to do it lol! I've looked around and there are plenty of people doing it but there also seems to be a lot of demand so I'm hopeful. Plus there are various styles and mine are different again (I think).
Great to see you back Amber!! We're hanging on til Sunday for the next thread cos we really want MummyandPaige to come back and let us know how she is, poor lass xx
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

:rotfl:Ha ha ha ha! That's what I did when I first started - trouble is my kitchen is only big enough for one person to stand in, (I can touch all four walls from the middle of it), so putting them as far as possible from the sink meant putting them in the bowl and putting it in the cupboard under the sink!! It creeps out into the rest of the kitchen though - after a couple of days I noticed that my shiny sink had started making my kettle look dull and dirty so I shined that. Then a day later that made my canisters look bad so I shined them. Not that they were dirty exactly, but they were dull and had fingerprints all over them. They get a quick shine every day now!! Then it spread to the sides and the floor and before I knew it I was emptying the cupboards and cleaning them out.

Now I'm onto the decluttering bit and am feeling like my house is growing around me, there's so much more space!!

Dilli - great post. I loved your verbal diarrhoea and oooh I've never been inspiring before! Enjoy your shiny sink ;)

I have the soundtrack from Juno in my car and I was playing the Tree Hugger song to my niece yesterday. She is so like me, she just loves daft songs. So I thought I'd link it for anyone who needs a bit of a laugh - Tree Hugger

Hey Paula, sorry I meant to reply to you earlier (think you asked a couple of pages back) and got a bit sidetracked. I messaged her with your quote info and said that if she wanted me to act as go between then I would be happy to - I'm afraid I haven't heard anything back at all..... she's a relative, but purely in name, never met her or that branch of the family lol, just unearthed them in my family tree! I'll send her another message to prompt her! I know folk who don't use the messaging system on FB sometimes don't realise when they have a message.

    hey Dilli, Mabel, Elly, Joey!
