Morning everyone
Thanks for coming back on M&P - all in your own time hun but we are here for you x
Well made a big decision last night and that was to make ebay my main earning business and be self employed completly  That way no contracts that end/redundancy just me scouring car boots etc and making some money. It's scary as Ebay has just been a hobby before for extras here and there but now it has to pay. I have been registered as a business for a couple of years to keep the taxman happy so that's not a problem. I have an ebay shop which I shall fine tune over the next few days and I am a top rated seller (it's just keep that 'badge' that's the hard bit!) so it's all in place I just need to get myself in gear and go for it!
Right off to take loads of photos back later - have a good day the sun's out xx8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140 -

Morning all. Looks set to be another gorgeous day today. :j
Hugs to all, big hugs to those who need them a bit more.
My niece is in a play today, so I'm off to see that this afternoon. It's not often I get to see them as I'm usually at work. Meeting my SIL beforehand for a bite to eat picnic style in town - Sheffield town centre has been revamped over the last few years and there are some lovely spots to relax now, the Peace Gardens being my favourite.
Off to the local shopping centre shortly to sort some money out for my car - it cost me £300 to get it through the MOT, but I had 2 tyres replaced that were illegal (), new brake pads and a few other bits, so not a bad price really. Can't complain when it only cost me £25 last year!!
Further to my post yesterday re all the various hobbies I have started and never continued and the clutter that has accumulated due to it, I've decided to make a list of them. Then I'm going to put them in order of how much I want to do them. So far, I have Spanish, dolls house, sort the cat room, blogging (which has been totally neglected for the last month!), drawing, scrapbooking, cross stitch, making teddy bears, carbooting, First Aid, making pin cushions, making fingerless gloves. I have numerous books for each of these subjects plus items in various stages of being made that have been abandoned, and there are no doubt more that I haven't remembered as yet. Once I've decided what my priorities are, I'm going to spend a week or two on each of them. If I get half way through my list and I would rather go back to one of the hobbies I already did than do the next thing on the list, that hobby is going to be struck off and I'll get rid of the books/items. That way, I'll be spending my time doing things I really want to do and getting rid of clutter that I obviously won't ever use. That's the plan anyway, I'll report back on whether it works or not!!
Hope everyone is well and has a good day.
x
(Oops, huge post again. Can't understand why I can't be bothered to blog this week when I obviously have far too much to say!!):jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -
*waves* morning all
M&P so glad you posted, please stick with us, we're here for you in any way we can be x
Joey, sounds like you've got it all planned out and I like the way you're going about it. I used to joke that I needed a schedule for my hobbies, not that I have many exactly, just crochet and family tree stuff, but when you've got 2 kids and work full time, that's the day pretty much done! I might still do that actually, a sort of rota!!
Not entirely sure it would work mind you! Although if my flying works out, I'll have more time on my hands, so in theory...... lol!
Just about to message you Jo, will send pm here since I'm logged on anyhow.
This is my last day at work for a week, yippeeeeeee and I can't wait just to chill and have the chance to go daily jaunts with the OH. The kids are both off abroad tomorrow with their Dad for a week, so we'll have the time just to ourselves :j Is that a terrible thing to say?? Hehe!
We're organised to go take a look at this rental house tonight and I keep saying that I don't really want it I don't really want it, just so the fates don't see how potentially excited I am to have our own place with the right number of bedrooms and even a garden, oh bliss! Ssshh, don't tell anyone, don't want to jinx it!
Hugs all round!

Ooh Toots, I have my fingers crossed for you, but I'm hiding them up my sleeve so the fates won't suspect a thing
I started a Catty thread over at Smirkenville, hopefully getting my fingers typing again and looking at pictures of cats will get my blogging juices going.
