M&P - You need support hun and if the only way you can get it is to post on here then so be it. If I could come and get you out of there then believe me I would hunny. You need to get out of there for you and your childrens sakes before more damage/harm is done, you deserve a lot better than that and so do your children. There is help out there with a Womens refuges all over the country. Now Social Services are involved tell them please what is going on, they are your 'get out clause' if you don't tell them how are they going to know? They will then bring in other outside help. Please be strong for your children, they are going through this as well and you don't want them to think that that is a normal way for a man to behave because it's not. Please seek help sweetheart xxx

Please keep on posting as we will worry about you. xxxxxxx

MandP, we love you and are here for you, please keep that in mind no matter what you decide xx

Well I survived so far - I've worked my way halfway round the "junk" room and have 2 black sacks of rubbish and a huge pile of ebay/carboot/charity shop stuff. In fact, strike the ebay bit, I've really lost heart in that, so it's carboot and then straight to the charity shop.

I will never have to buy another puzzle book, piece of paper, pen or pencil, candle, room scent, ball of wool or pot of glue in my life - how can one person gather this much junk? I must have wasted thousands of pounds on absolute garbage over the years. I'm thoroughly ashamed of myself and have made an oath I will never do this again!!!

I know it's a bit morbid, but my uncle died a couple of years ago and he lived in the house my grandma had also lived in. When we started trying to empty the house out it was quite literally a nightmare! The house was just completely full of junk that both of them had gathered, they must have never thrown anything away in all the years they lived there. Well I'm ashamed to say that my house, without me even realising it, has become just as bad. I can't bear the thought that if anything ever happened to me, someone I love would have to deal with all this junk.

So, I'm having my tea, then going back up for a half hour tidy up, then tomorrow I will do the rest of the room. I will prevail :T
