really hoping DHs ebay stuff sells tomorrow. Money from it will be our first step in our financial plan. we have made other steps but they are moneysaving ones such as budget and meal planning etc. Think we will just manage to stay within our experimental budget this month except we had one last builing work thing to sort out which has been paid and hopefully the ebay money will equal this out and so mean that the money available to us this month is roughly typical of a normal month.
Reading the debt free wannabee thread is so calming - to me at least. I know its hard work but it feels do-able. I just keep going and reading a few different situations and it helps calm any panics I might get. yay.
At least building work is completely paid now. will be a while before we can tile our kitchen floor but our house was always meant to be a long term work in progress.

I'm making her a husband now, was fully intending to clean while the kids were away but feel happy I've got something crafty done
plus they'd only muck it up as soon as they got back! Babymoo, have no idea about your council but it sounds like ours - we applied years ago and didn't have a chance unless we'd been in a one-bedroom with seven kids or something, it was ridiculous xx

Hi Jo
thanks! know what you mean about the debt-free boards, they are a good reminder that there's always someone worse off and they remind me that we only have a smallish amount to clear compared to some xx
