Please someone kick me up the a r s e and force me to do my open uni assignment!!!
And then make me update my CV please!!!
    I have no self-discipline today. Where's AMBER when i need her?!! x

p.s. well done skint - that's great going - one step closer to the bakery :)

Consider your a=se well and truly kicked - start that assignment, even if you only do a bit to start with.

I used to clean cupboards when I had something like to do for uni. Anything but make a start, then a mad rush just before the deadline. Had gleaming cupboards tho, lol.

jo - think your trying to cope and deal with too much at once! it is hard when you try to make a plan but i found if i marked off evertime a payment was made i felt like i was getting somewhere, i even bought an accounts ledger and tallied it up at the end of the month, so when i seen the balance the juggling the finances was worth it.

em- shift yer big fat butt and get it done! the longer you sit the bigger your butt will be!

    Thanks Skint,
thing is its only a preliminary budget and I keep remembering things I've forgotten to include. so not sure we can make it work. think we can keep on top of things but need to do more to make inroads into the debt.
also I am such a procrastinator when it comes to things like sorting out insurance and utilities for best buys. don't know why but I hate doing it. am getting there slowly but know I could do it much faster if I pulled my finger out.
its probably feeling worse cos there is no sunshine and blue sky to lift my spirits. guess my feeling weather is damp and foggy today.lol.

Hugs Jo - you need someone like Joprah to give you some advice :)
All i can add is that sometimes it's not the buzz moment that's worthwhile - obviously you know this yourself - but more often the everyday steps are much more important and harder to achieve, so you're doing the important and difficult stuff day in day out with your work at the cafe and with your lovely family etc. Your own cafe idea still gives you a buzz doesn't it? I get lots of buzz moments but mostly they're impractical or just totally ridiculous - i find the persistence the hard step but that's what you're achieving and that's what really makes a difference.
I agree with Nixi that your talents could be put to very good use - you could get paid for what you do on here, the support you give etc if you did it in a professional capacity but i sense that you don't want that anyway.
Just think of your ducks, they'll give you a buzz, they're hilarious! Are you any closer to getting them? xxx

ps i sort of did 20 minutes. Well, 15 minutes was the logging on/ retrieving password etc... :)
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.
