Nixi - If you feel like PM-ing me a few more details I'll try and brainstorm a few name ideas for you. I quite enjoy it. may not come up with anything but happy to give it a go.

Busy day.... 60 lines listed on ebay today.... probably about 200 to go:eek:.... I WILL get them done this week!

Goodness me! Are we allowed to know what it is you're selling? Hope Ebay is better for you than me - bit quiet at the mo - all the sunshine I expect!

    Hi everyone:wave:

Evenstarcrafty - don't think I'll make the £10k either! I'm just about to start buying a domain name, setting up a website etc all in my "niche" interest - trouble is as always- there's about a million other people in my niche!:rotfl: But they say go with what you know and I know about this, so better give it a try. Whatever we decide to do someone's always done it before us - just one of those things! Perhaps everyone else will have given up by the time I actually get my site up!

Nixinixi - do you find your blogs earn you anything worthwhile? Mine doesn't. I know it's all about traffic and I'm getting between 50 and 100 vistors a day - but I know that's not enough - s'pose I need a lesson in SEO!

I've been reading on the Ebay thread about people who are selling Ikea bits and pieces on Ebay (for about 4 times what Ikea charges) - weird way to make a living :rotfl:, but I suppose it may work for all the little things - my nearest Ikea is around a hour and a half car drive away, so I have to make a year-long list and then go!

Hope everyone else is okay - I'm not doing much selling at the mo- only stuff that's not mine, so nor is the money:( I bought a huge box of K'nex in a charity shop the other day - then found similar ones going for 99p on Ebay - Whoops!

Hi Mrs Money! I haven't put enough effort into my current blog BUT I can see a lot of potential in my current idea, as I think I have a way to bring traffic to me ........just got to put some work in now to see if my theory works in practise lol! Just struggling with a name still..... decisions decisions!! :D

I don't think the ikea thing is a bad idea actually. maybe not 4 times the amount but a mark up as they have to make a profit from actually going to ikea and buying the stuff. There is always stuff I want from ikea but its just a nightmare for us to get there and drag kids around. prob cost us at least £10 in petrol and then a drink at cafe for kids (minimum!) or the items that can be bought at ikea online seem to start at minimum £7.50 delivery. so for small items at a higher retail price but with reasonable delivery charge it would certainly be cheaper and less stressful for me.
was over the moon when I saw some ikea stuff on amazon too for same reason.
