I've been making progress, with another £20 amazon voucher waiting to be e-mailed to me from DooYoo some more money to add to the talley!

Have done some work, typed up my documentation, or what I've writen out so far and that was 1500 words :-) Did that with no problems at all and added a few words as well.

Now thinking about going and sitting out in the sun with some juice and music books and making a start on another project, so i get a break from the other one.

Doing my washing and generally tidying and sorting my room as well. I'm lazy with my washing, i just wait until i don't have any clothes left and now i have 3 loads for the washing machine, whoops.

Have a nice day in the sun everyone!

Mabel I filled the sink with boiling water (as high as I could without it all disappearing out the overflow) and added a healthy dollop of Stardrops (Flylady suggests bleach and I may well still do that actually) and let it sit for a couple of hours. Drained, scrubbed, rinsed several times, then dried off with a clean towel. It's stainless steel and now very shiny! I think the secret is in the drying tbh, I'm having to be careful not to be compulsive now though, but I dry it off every time I use it!

    I have had a o.k day...

Finished off last night sorting out the tools to start the engine swap today...

Got up, stripped the bonnet etc (basically spent a couple hours on it... and had it ready to drop out of the car) Went to church and then when I got back i finished the job off and now have a running saxo - that isnt the best news...

A friend of my best friend is looking for a small car for his wife - and has said he will take this off me - ok I make about £100 less than I wanted to - but he is collecting it tomorrow and I wont be paying any listing fees or be messed around!

really gotta thank a couple mates of mine, without them it wouldnt have been finished...

sale came round as My BM (Best Mate) was coming round and speaking to his colleague on friday about what they were doing over the weekend - who phoned him today about coming to look at it in about 20 minutes (just as we had the engine, gearbox, and basically the whole front end not fitted to the car... not a good way to try and sell a car. So BM gave him incorrect directions which bought us 40 minutes or so extra - and whilst the engine wasnt running it gave us time to get the front end looking like a car with the engine bolted in.(not hooked up in any way to electrics, fuel and cooling) - but his wife fell in love with it (I had hoped to valet it before showing anyone) and he said as long as we could get the mechanicals running for a test drive tomorrow - he would take it away with him!

well ive just driven it - and it goes, it stops and has its MOT booked for first thing in the morning - which at a look over it will pass without a problem

if I could turnaround one a weekend and sell it at this level of profit I would be happy!

Right now to see if that peugot is still available in need of a clutch - I can use the profit from this one to buy it - meaning no matter what we are not down financially other than about £100 for parts to sort out the pug.
