  • ok, plan, I have let things slip. I got disheartened when things didn't go as quickly as I liked, so currently have nothing listed on EBay, silly really cos its never going to sell if it is not listed. So this morning am retaking all pics in the light without chocolatey mucky fingers in the house, then going t ospend the afternoon listing, sod everything else.

Mambury, will get hold of you this afternoon if that is ok!

My motivation goes in peaks and troughs, my last peak disappeared about a month ago and hadn't come back, til today :D so, while it is here, going to make the most of it, back to photoing. Not easy when you are using a phone with a broken screen, can't see what I am taking a photo of! Still just keep clicking and should get a few decent ones!

Right only got 45 mins left until I have to go and get the little monsters, so better get back to it!

Haven't had a cigarette since Sunday evening so am doing well, Only had to use my inhalator once and that was when i was having a glass of pimms with my friend at the pub yesterday.

Can't really do any uni work untill everyone wakes up so I've been writing a few reviews whilst waiting. Ordered some earring bits from ebay, gonna see what i can come up with.

Saucy, Think of it this way with regards to your health insurance.....

If it was car insurance and you hit someone, and caused £1000's of damage - would you offer to pay to have it repaired or go through your car insurance??????

This is more important than a lump of metal - this is your health! You have paid for the benefit of having the option of going private if you ever needed to - and now you need it you are not taking up the option - this is not very MSE!

    hmmm dilemna time.......

2 cars - both reasonably cheap.... but only enough cash to buy/sort one of them to resell.

    1. Saxo 1.0: Needs a engine and most likely a gearbox, and a fuel line and front discs/pads - total cost of parts including the car is going to be around £400 and it will resell for around 7-800 based on condition. Will take a 1-2 days work to get it back on the road and needs a BIG valet!
    2. 106 1.1: Needs a clutch / clutch cable - will owe me be about 480 but the owner is being cagey about MOT expiry: not in bad condition and is probably worth about 800 when sold. Chances of resale are slighly slimmer as my DW would love one of these lol!

Not sure what to go for, my head says buy them both but my bank manager is calling me a !!!!

Jo I do hope you feel better soon and thank you for the minimove.

Mummy and P good luck with the ebay listing

Saucy I agree with everyone else. Use your private insurance. Thats what its there for.

Hugs to everyone I haven't mentioned.

Well the big day has arrived and I am officially an OAP but it hasn't been too bad. I am the same person I was yesterday and it is only a number. I am goiing to spend a lovely afternoon with my Grandaughter and tomorrow I am off to London for 3 days. It was a holiday we planned with 4 friends before Xmas as they are all 60 already and have bus passes. We planned it for the day after my birthday thinking I would have a bus pass lol. They have changed the rules though and I don't qualify for it until July. If I don't get chance to get on later hope you all enjoy the next few days and I will be back Saturday. Knowing you lot though it will take me until Monday to catch up with the thread.
    Love & Hugs to all
