I would assume "falling" for the offer of £70 when in fact the payment was only going to be £20.01.
It would seem reasonable to expect that the offer is what you end up getting paid.
Recently obtained a quote for one of my cars. Yes, it was low. But the admin fee was, to be fair, very clearly set out.
It is a free market. Whilst their offers may be low, I can envisage a situation where using them would be convenient (e.g. avoiding a part exchange but having a buyer ready and willing).
Don't see this as a rip off.0 -
What do you expect from a company that is part of CarCraft / UCan chain.0

Glad I used them when they were initially setting it up (~2 years ago)! No admin fees and offers seemed more generous and little bartering when I got there.0

I know I am going against the tide here, but I had a very good experience of webuyanycar last month.
I had been offered between £2,800 and £3,600 for my Focus as part-ex, but sold to webuyanycar for £4,300. The admin cost of £50 is clearly stated and I paid an extra £25 to ensure next day CHAPS payment to my bank account.
I think they give you a better price if they gauge your car is suitable for a car supermarket (less than 5 years old and low milage ideally) as they know they can shift it and what it might be worth.

PS. on Autotrader similar cars were going for £4,200 (private) to £5,000 (dealer)0 -
We used wewillbuyyourcar.com, and they were fab - no admin fee, pick up the car from your door and the guy sits in your house, does the bank transfer and stays until you phone your bank and confirm the money has gone into your account. Going to use them again shortly, they always quote better than dealer offers0

...leaving me the grand total of £20.01! I am fairly certain that if you were offered more, the fee would be higher.
Not really sure where the con is, it's clearly stated on the page when you get the vaule, I just vauled a £7k car and It's still saying the same admin fee, so it doesn't seem to raise with the cars vaule either :think:0 -

Bottom line to me seems to be that it is fairly easy to ascertain a car's value through Glass', Parker's, etc. If We Buy Any Car's offer is too low, then go elsewhere.
Simple, isn't it?0 -
They don't deserve to get any custom with the annoying ad on TVApproach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! For Caroline my Goddess.0

Not sure what people expect from this company! How do you think they make money!0
