you can cancel the sports channels they run on a 1 month contract
Though i think you need to give 1 months notice now
Many thanks for that
Will ring up in Morning and see what they can offer for the Summer.
Are we saying its better to tell them that i want to cancel as the football has ended to get a offer?0 -
I rang yesterday to can cancel sky sports and espn an was offered both for £3 p/m for the next 3 months, not too bad!!0

Yes, tell CS you want to cancel sports, there is a deal going for three months subscriptions at £3 a month. I was offered this as I wanted to have 6 months free HD subscription but they would not budge and offered me this instead if I do not cancel sports.0

Try again and mention you are thinking of moving to virgin they have better offers and how come some existing customers are being offered sport channel for £3 a month. You do not think it is fair? You have given 30 days notice you could ring later and said you have changed your mind. There is an article on the forum how to haggle and best day to phone sky. Hope this helps.0

I dont think i could say im going to Virgin as only been with Sky 6 months.
Will they let me change it to keep Sports now that ive given them 31 days notice?0 -
Yes, they will as they want your business. You could try that it is not fair other people are getting offers. I guess, you get offers when you go through cancellation department may be you have not long enough with them. If you have been with them for 6 months, are not you tied in a yr contract, you should ask?0
