I ordered my books on the 18th and they still have not dispatched them, as they usually this slow?Josey0

I got mine in 3 days, and judging by the thread, that seems to be pretty standard for most people who bought it. Did you get any emails from them? There was a tracking link in that, I think. It could just be that they've been inundated because of this thread! Plus there was the bank holiday - that might have affected it.0

Josey - I ordered some books on the 22nd, not arrived yet but got email today saying they had been dispatched. Also ordered some on the 21st, they are not here yet either but reckon they will arrive tomorrow ( they were dispatched on the 26th). My first order ( can't remember exactly when but would have been around the 15th ) arrived on the 23rd. I know they have been having problems with the website though, maybe it would be worth phoning customer services to check they did get your order ( as tawnyowls says, you should get an email to say the order has been received, another one to confirm the order and finally one to say it has been dispatched).0

The first one I ever did from this book, and still a family favourite is the Meat-Potato Quiche ( page 158 in my book). I usually use bacon bits ( the packet of little cubes), but have done it with chopped sausage. Very filling and absolutely tops still warm with salad!! Mmmmm can taste it now!!You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
