Sky Dish installation on scaffolding

Hi
I have Sky TV with sports channels. Last week scaffolding was suddenly erected outside our flats and the Sky reception went dead. No TV, just as we get to the end of the footy season. Great!
My sky dish is a single output type so I am looking to take advantage of the scaffolding by getting a new quad output dish installed.
I have got the dish off ebay and am going to ask a local independent company to install the dish. I have sorted out the internal cabling.
My question is will it be possible for the installer to align the dish correctly given that the scaffolding is in place? He may get a clear view to the horizon. Do satellite dish installers have any special equipment that enable them to align the dish even without a clear view?
Obviously I am not expecting to get the best (or any) reception, until the scaffolding is removed which hopefully should not be too long depending on how much work needs to be done on the roof.

Installers need a signal to align a dish. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

Thanks bryanb
If he gets a line of sight thro the scaffolding would that be sufficient or does the scaffolding itself interfere with the signal?
My flat is on the first floor but there is a basement flat as well.0 -

Easy enough to mount the dish on the scaffolding temporarily (a Sky installer probably won't, but an independent will).A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

Have you got permission to mount the dish on the scafolding from the company who own it?0

I have spoken to the scaffolders about other matters (like a window that needs repairing) and they told me "this is the ideal time to do it". So I don't anticipate any problems getting permission to do the satellite dish.0 -
unless you are old and i mean old 70+ or disabled, all you
have to do is drill 4 holes in the wall outside your window
and point it in the direction of the other dishes, also you have
a signal bar on the menu of your sky box to tell you if you have
a good or bad signal adjust accordingly, its so simples, save yourself
a load of money and give it a try.0 -
Yup is really easy to do0
