In general, facts on human sustainability at this level (population of 6 billion) are never funny. 2 billion is all that is sustainable I'm afraid without cheap energy.0 -
another self-declared prophet in our midst.
"it has come to pass"......are you the messiah?
you can't possibly know the future. correctly predicting petrol prices would rise (whether they have gone "through the roof" i'm not sure) is hardly the same as total global economic meltdown. Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -

The actual figure is now closer to 7bn than it is 6bn. So I guess the end is slightly more nigher than it was ten minutes ago.0 -

oil has never been cheap energy. nuclear energy could work out to be fairly cheap. as is solar. it's not so much the petrol that is expensive as the tax on it (about 70 percent of the cost?).Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -

Where did you get that number from, or is it just one you pulled out of thin air?"I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.0 -
Hi Ad. No doubt if your latest username gets banned, it'll be because I reported on you."I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.0
