You're a right barrel of laughs aren't you.

In general, facts on human sustainability at this level (population of 6 billion) are never funny. 2 billion is all that is sustainable I'm afraid without cheap energy.

another self-declared prophet in our midst.

"it has come to pass"......are you the messiah?

you can't possibly know the future. correctly predicting petrol prices would rise (whether they have gone "through the roof" i'm not sure) is hardly the same as total global economic meltdown.

The actual figure is now closer to 7bn than it is 6bn. So I guess the end is slightly more nigher than it was ten minutes ago.

oil has never been cheap energy. nuclear energy could work out to be fairly cheap. as is solar. it's not so much the petrol that is expensive as the tax on it (about 70 percent of the cost?).

'The End Is Nigh' ???, not at all, we are just in for a different phase. It will be better in some ways, worse in others I guess.

Of course the 'transition' will be painful, but it always has been throughout human evolution.

Where did you get that number from, or is it just one you pulled out of thin air?

Hi Ad. No doubt if your latest username gets banned, it'll be because I reported on you. :(
