Hi..lol phew glad you got the right goods!!..you will laugh as ours is huuuge..we got the xxl one..seemed like a good idea in a huuge room..now keep moving it as not sure where to put it!..may send it back..Joke! which one did you get?
Letter was staple points really with my own problems added in, trading standards just said make sure it is precise and has dates and any info on delivery etc..what you were told and what happened. That they are in breach of their contract (as should deliver by law apparantly a lot sooner as stated on our invoice 8-14 days and was actually 60 today!)..thats about it..like i said mine is our nightmare and probably a bit off but ive yet to fail getting something out of people (see my other post started!)
The man at GS was Spencer Hidge..very helpful i will pm you his number..email is : spencerh@upperstreetevents.co.uk
Anything else..just shout! x0 -
FO-T can i ask you something?
The only thing we got upfront was some spray for the beanbag..a waterproofing one and i am being a bit dense on the instructions! do we have to wet it first? i am not keen on this idea tbh and if so will just leave..if not have you put it on yet?
Thanks x0 -
Well today they truly took the mickey by sending me a cheque for £10 'as a gesture of goodwill'..hmm seeing as i asked for £40 and was well within my rights to do so according to trading standards they are pushing their luck..thing is i'm tired of it all..half of me says write back demanding the money or small claims..the other says write back saying they suck and will be plastered ll over the internet as a dire company to deal with..ideas?!
FO-T not sure where you have gone..any luck your end?
Thanks0 -
Suggest you do NOT buy bean bags from Bear Bean Bags unless you use tree rings or glaciers to keep track of time!
I've been dealing with someone calling themselves 'Wesley Morby' and am still trying to get delivery after weeks and weeks of delays and promises. He's very creative - surprise that it hasn't been delivered, we haven't got enough fabric, can't find your order...you get the picture.
Ordered from the Ideal Home Show on 20th March, promised '8-14 days delivery' and still no sign of it by 12th May! Now he's 'off work' and says to contact jo@ggbb.co.uk...I've given them until tomorrow to deliver before I pursue return of my money via moneyclaim.gov.uk0
