This is confusing, wish I had internet banking to be able to check my bank account. Cant see why BS would be giving us these for free though, now worried there going to write to us and ask for full amounts :S

I made four orders on the 4/5 on two different accounts the first with one account using my credit card i made two orders they have took the money. the second one on a new account using my debit card which i have never used online before. they earmarked the money but never took it. i made another order with that account the next day but it was rejected. do debit cards just take longer to prosess payments has this ever happened to anyone else before. i have only used my credit card for bodyshop orders untill now.

Mine have all been dispatched and i have received three of them and the fourth is due to be delivered tomorrow. they have always earmarked the money when they receive my order then taken the money when they dispatch them from me. so its confusing. thats why i was wondering do debit cards take longer. on the night i made the orders they were on my bank statement now no mention of them.

I think debit cards do take longer although my Body shop orders the money did come off when they were dispatched. In the past I have used my debit card for petrol and had shopping delivered from Asda and it's been 2 or 3 days before the money actually came off! It would be a bonus for you if the BS dont ever take the money though so let us know what happens

just had another look at my bank account and the have taken payment for my first order out of 3 the money was defo there on my avail balance yesterday i think the ear marked the money to take it then didnt take it! then took it the day after it cleared back in my account,its a weird one will see what happens if they take payment for the other 2 orders as the money for those is defo back in my account.:j

I had a dispatch e mail on Friday and Saturday for the 3 orders that I placed. One was on my credit card and 2 were my debit card. Nothing has been taken for any of them as of yet and I assume they will be delivered tomorrow.

I am fairly sure that this has happened on previous orders using by DD and credit card and the money did come out of my account within a day or so from reciept of the items. Would be great if it didn't though :rotfl:!! I reckon that their systems have just been bombarded and are probably functioning on a bit of a delay.

Also had similar t hing with tesco direct - had my items for 3 days before money went from my account in the past.

Just looking through my orders and the two they took the money for were complete and the two they havent taken the money for had oos items maybe its taken longer because they have to adjust the amounts they have to take.
