    Yes, I returned 4 of the gift bags I got under the last big glitch (along with various items from various orders which I didn't want - unused of course). You just e-mail them and advise them that you wish to return those items and give them the order number and they send you a reference number - basically just follow the instructions on the back of the delivery note. They are very good about refunding (at least they were on the one occasion I have done it) - they give you back what you paid as well as the cost of the return. HTH. BTW, the delivery notes don't show the price you paid so I expect they would only verify the cost of the items you are returning, if you took them in-store.

    Thanks for your reply! So I can return them back to the "online store" and they'll refund me even though they know that the only thing from the order I actually paid for was the bags?! Doesn't make business sense to me!

    Does anyone know how I can return some gift bags as I don't really need 8?! If I take them instore they'll see I didn't pay for the gift sets and surely won't refund the bags? If I take them in without the receipt will they just give me a credit note? Never really use the Body Shop instore! Surely one of you long time Body Shoppers will know! :p

    last time there was a glitch i just took the stuff back i didnt want with no reciept and got stuff i wanted in its place just say you bought to many for a party or somethin lol:rotfl:

    How much did you get refunded because with the last glitch the bags were free?

    You return them to the BS head office, yes. As for those items being the only ones you paid for, I can't guarantee it because the other items weren't entirely free when I returned the bags, just very heavily discounted....

    Using tea tree wipes, gel etc can still get higher value item free
    tea tree wipes x 4 = £16
    Wise woman serum x 2 (£44) = FREE
    Free delivery as over £15
    Discount 20% = - £3.20
    So = £12.80 delivered + quidco

    Well, it was hard to work out because I returned items from about 4 different orders, all of which had various discounts applied. The bags were £2 each and then discounted from the order I placed (see below copied from order confirmation). They refunded me a total amount which they felt covered the amounts I had paid for the goods returned plus the delivery cost and it seemed about right....

    Wild Cherry Body Butter (58493) 2 GBP6.25 GBP12.50
    Gift Bag Small (84242) 5 GBP2.00 GBP10.00
    Sub Total: GBP22.50
    Discount: GBP16.00
    Shipping Method -
    Shipping Cost:
    Order total: GBP6.50
